A production background from the Hanna Barbera Studios animated series "The Smurfs" (1981-1989). The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears likely in an episode from 1984, based on the production numbers. The window area in the center of the background is a physical opening cut into the background paper. Measuring 10.5"x13.75" overall, the background is in very good condition with minor surface and edge wear due to age and handling.
