A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring a great image of Erik the Red and Juggernaut, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season three episode titled "The Phoenix Saga, Part 3: Cry of the Banshee," which aired on September 7, 1994. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 7.75"x9.25", the cel is in good condition with minimal surface wear, light line wear, a faint stained discoloration to the paint, and backing paper stuck to the reverse of the paint from studio use and storage. The cel is paired with a color copy reproduction background for presentation purposes.
